Hi Parents!

It is that time of the year now - a LOT of things will be heading home for good!  Please check your child's reading folder each night and remove the items that come home so that I can add more.

Also a HUGE congratulations on how organised your children have been for swimming.  I hope that they have at least been helpful in reminding you of the things they need.

This week is the last week that home readers will be coming home.  Please continue to read with your child every night, they have made enormous progress this year and I am so proud of their efforts.

Kind regards,

Ms VDK :)

Hello Parents!

One Green would like to remind you that we need the following items for swimming lessons.  These lessons start this Wednesday and continue for three weeks each Wednesday and Friday.  Please help us to pack the following items for swimming lessons:

  • Appropriate Swimmers.  No bikinis for girls etc.
  • Swimming cap (compulsory). These can be purchased at the office for $2.50.  We will not be allowed in the pool without one.
  • Thongs (or crocs/sandals).  These will be worn to and from lessons to protect our feet from hot ground and rocks etc.
  • Goggles (highly recommended) as there are high chlorine levels in the pool.
  • Towel.
  • Swimming bag to keep items together.
We do not need to come to school in our swimmers as we will be given enough time to change before lessons.  IF we do come to school in our swimmers, please remember to pack underwear for us to change into after.

Kind regards,

One Green :)

Welcome back to Term Four!!

We have hit the ground running with a fabulous fairy tale unit. Your children are enjoying it almost as much as I am!  Now would be a great time to break out those old story books and have some quality reading and discussion (which I am sure would be a nice break from all the Minecraft talk).

Just an early reminder that swimming lessons begin in week three, please ensure that your cherubs have all the right equipment, including swimming cap, otherwise they will not be permitted to swim.

Kind regards,

Ms VDK :)
